Katie Tomlinson was born in Teesside, and lives and works in Manchester and London. Katie is currently undertaking an MA in Painting at the Royal College of Art (London) supported by the Basil H. Alkazzi Scholarship Award.
Solo exhibitions include At Least Buy Me Dinner First at Brooke Benington (London) and Fight the Moon at Paradise Works (Manchester). Other notable duo and group exhibitions include Buried in Affection at Galerie Supermarkt (Tokyo, Japan), Obstructions at Castlefield Gallery and Fayre Share Fayre at The Whitworth Art Gallery.
Brooke Benington is a contemporary art gallery formed by directors Lily Brooke and George Marsh. The gallery operates across three locations: London, Contemporary Sculpture Fulmer and Mexico City. Brooke Benington represents Yeni Mao, Ross Taylor and Katie Tomlinson. Additionally, Brooke Benington runs an artists residency operating from Studio Block M74 in Mexico City.
