• MICHAEL HOPPEN GALLERY

    LONDON

The Michael Hoppen Gallery opened in 1992 and is founded on a passion for photography. As a gallery they are renowned for nurturing the careers of new and interesting artists and exhibiting them alongside acknowledged nineteenth, twentieth and twenty-first century photographic masters. Over the last two decades, the gallery has created one of the most extensive collections of Japanese photography outside Asia. Through working directly with the estates of prominent pre-war and post-war masters of photography and nurturing the next generation of artists who work within this legacy, they continue to underscore their commitment to this distinctive photographic culture.
